About SeasonHop
Every winter and summer, hotels in the Alps struggle to find reliable seasonal staff. They post the same ads on the same job boards, get few applications, and lose time with no-shows. At the same time, thousands of motivated hospitality workers across Europe want a season in Austria or Switzerland but don't know which hotels to trust, or what the staff housing really looks like.
SeasonHop fixes both sides. Workers create a verified profile and see real jobs with real staff housing. Hotels find pre-screened candidates, contact them directly and hire without agency fees.
The product is live and the worker side is growing: more than 1,300 seasonal workers have registered so far, and Austria is their number one destination (see our live data). Now we need someone who can bring the hotels.
The role
You'll be the co-founder responsible for the hotel side of the business in the DACH region. You will own the go-to-market for Austria, Germany and Switzerland: who we talk to, how we talk to them and how we close. You'll work directly with the founder, who leads product, technology and worker acquisition.
What you'll do
- Open doors to hotel owners, general managers and HR managers, with a focus on Alpine and seasonal hotels.
- Run meetings and demos, sign the first hotel partners and turn them into reference customers.
- Build the sales pipeline and the playbook: who to target, which arguments work, how to price.
- Bring the hotel perspective into the product: what hotels need to hire faster and with less risk.
- Represent SeasonHop in the industry: hotel associations, tourism boards, events and trade fairs.
- Later: build and lead a small sales team for the DACH region.
Who you are
- Fluent or native German speaker.
- You know the hospitality industry in Austria, Germany or Switzerland from the inside. Hands-on hotel experience (front office, reservations, sales, HR or management) is a big plus.
- You have an existing network of hotel directors, owners or HR managers, or a strong track record in B2B sales or business development.
- Entrepreneurial: you can work independently, open doors without a big brand behind you and handle rejection.
- You believe in the product and see yourself in a co-founder role, not just a sales job.
- You can commit meaningful time from the start (part-time is fine to begin with), with the goal of going full-time as the company grows.
What we offer
- Real co-founder equity with standard vesting (4 years, 1-year cliff). The size of the stake reflects your commitment and contribution, and we put it in writing from day one.
- The co-founder title and full ownership of the DACH market.
- A real say in product, pricing and company strategy.
- A product that already works and a growing pool of seasonal workers, so you're not selling slides.
- Full flexibility: remote, your own schedule, in-person meetings with hotels where it makes sense.
- A paid role as soon as revenue or funding allows.
Good to know
We're an early-stage, self-funded startup. There is no fixed salary at the start. This role is for someone who is ready to invest their time and network in exchange for ownership, because they believe SeasonHop can become the go-to platform for seasonal hiring in the Alps.
How it works
- Send us a short message about your hospitality background, your network and why this role interests you, plus your LinkedIn profile.
- Intro call with the founder (30 minutes).
- Second conversation to go deeper into the market, the product and how we'd work together.
- A short trial collaboration (a few weeks) so both sides can see if it's a fit.
- Agree the co-founder terms in writing.
